INT.  THE ETHER - MINERVA'S TEMPLE - DAY

Minerva and Hermes sit across from each other in comfortable couch like seats. Minerva looks distraught.

MINERVA
What news, Hermes?
HERMES
I'm afraid our worst fears have been confirmed. Jupiter is no longer present in the Ether.
MINERVA
But ... how could that be? He may have been the best replicated out of all of us?
HERMES
I suspect he's been murdered, Minerva. There's only one person I know of who both hated Jupiter and knew enough of his weaknesses to eradicate his presence.
MINERVA
Where is Poseidon now?
HERMES
That's the other thing. Poseidon clearly remains present, but has cut himself off communication-wise. Neither I nor Apollo have been able to contact him.
MINERVA
So Poseidon has finally acted out.
HERMES
It seems that way.
MINERVA
And we aren't immortal after all.
HERMES
It appears so ...

Minerva stands and goes to the doorway leading out to the balcony. She opens the door and steps out onto the balcony. Camera follows her. She looks down at the throng of people who immersed themselves to come and worship her.

INT.  THE ETHER - POSEIDON'S TEMPLE - DAY

Pasiphae climbs the many steps to reach the top of the highest temple within the realm of Minos. Only she knows it belongs to Poseidon. She reaches the top and is met by an old, hunched man with a gray beard. He has an evil look about him. Pasiphae bows to him, and he looks down at her and smiles.
