INT. MINOS - DAEDALUS'S QUARTERS - NIGHT
Daedalus is preparing to enter an immersion tank that looks like a small pool built into the stone floor at the far side of the room. The water in the pool looks golden and it reflects a shimmering light onto the ceiling above it. Daedalus is nearly naked and holds a strange face mask, which he is adjusting for fit.
Icarus stands nearby studying the scene with some curiosity.
INT. UNIVERSITY RESEARCH BUILDING - VIRTUAL REALITY LAB - (120 years previous) DAY
Room is strewn with thick cables and flat panel monitors displaying various metrics of ongoing test. A large vessel sits in the middle of the room, filled with a golden liquid. Jupiter (twenty-two) is submersed in the pool, we see a breathing apparatus over his face. Poseidon (twenty-eight) and Minerva (twenty-one) stare upward at a screen that displays a digital image of Jupiter's body standing in a vast empty space. Poseidon types into a keyboard on his lap, apparently to bring up new metrics.
A quantum leap in virtual reality technology. I still remember when this was just a crazy idea of yours, Jupiter. We're gonna be rich.
